About Us

The national cadet corps, Nepal was established in 1966 A.D. with the aim of producing loyal, disciplined, responsible and dedicated young individuals to become capable leaders and better citizens. Ever since its establishment, NCC Nepal has worked to instill qualities like nationalism, patriotism, discipline, espirit-de-corps, leadership and self-confidence – qualities that will serve them well in all walks of life and increase their utility of the Nation.

In the first 7 years of establishment, NCC Nepal successfully graduated 11 batches of Senior Division cadets. In the year 1974, Senior Division Training was discontinued in favor of initiating Junior Division Training. Since then, NCC Nepal has already conducted 42 batches of Junior Division Training Courses. From 2014, NCC Nepal has again reinitiated the courses for the Senior Division, to be conducted in the addition to training for the Junior Division.
