Senior Division

Senior Division Training:
NCC Nepal had conducted 9 batches of Senior Division Training during 8 years of its establishment until 1974,when this training was discontinued due  to the changes in the government’s education policy. However, Senior Division Training continued in 2014 .A total of 1375 cadets have been trained in the Senior Division Training.

Importance of Senior Division Training :

  • Development of leadership quality and self confidence.
  • To assist in personality development
  • To develop responsibility towards family and society.
  • Inspire to become self-dependent.
  • To produce trained youth which can be mobilized on post disaster.
  • To increase youth’s level of awareness on nature/environmental conversation, drugs abuses ,human trafficking etc.

Eligibility :

  • Student of Higher Secondary Level
  • Age limit : 16 – 21 years
  • Height
    • Male cadet – 5ft
    • Female cadet – 4ft 10inch
  • Medical test passed
  • Regular attendance at school

Training:
NCC Nepal provides 100 days training package for Senior Division Training in which 79 days is institutional training, conducted at the very location of the schools, whereas remaining 21 days is conducted the annual camp. The training consists of the following subject :

(a) Institutional Phase:
This is the 79 days training given at the very location of schools which includes the basic military trainings. The main aim of this training is to produce a dutiful and disciplined citizen who is physically strong and mentally robust with good personality. Following trainings are provided in this session:
